Evan Rubinson Demonstrates Long Record of Success in the Music Sales Industry 

Evan Rubinson founded ERA Brands in early 2022 and currently serves as the company CEO. ERA Brands, which sells musical instruments and accessories, operates its headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Rubinson brings a lifelong love of music to his new CEO role, having previously held high-level positions with ddrum Percussion, Dean Guitars, and Luna Guitars.

His CEO role with ERA Brands requires Rubinson to juggle multiple responsibilities, something which he is happy to do. From promoting the brand to purchasing inventory to answering customer questions, he feels he is right where he is supposed with his latest business venture.

Previous Positions Held by Evan Rubinson

Prior to launching his own business in the music industry, Rubinson was the CEO and President at Armadillo Distribution Enterprises. He began working in these roles in 2016 and left in 2022 when he started ERA Brands. Armadillo, a small company with less than 50 employees, manufactures and sells acoustic guitars, basses, drum products, and standard guitars.

From 2012 to 2014, Rubinson was a private equity analyst for Prometheus Partners, a small private equity firm based in San Francisco. Prometheus Partners specializes in managing investments for small and mid-sized private companies. Rubinson also held previous roles with both Armadillo Distribution Enterprises and Prometheus Partners.

Evan Rubinson Holds Two Board and Advisor Roles

Rubinson currently serves as an Advisory Panel Board Member for the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. He received this appointment in 2022. In 2021, he accepted the role of AAAC Board Member with Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, which is his alma mater.

Education Credentials

Rubinson enrolled at Duke University in 2010 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Public Policy in 2014. Since obtaining his undergraduate degree nearly a decade ago, Evan Rubinson has applied the lessons he learned as a student to real-world scenarios in the business sector. Both his education and his previous work experience prepared him well to launch ERA Brands.
